What are Eco Toys?

March 9, 2018 By Shelley Mason Baby, Children, Play & Product FAQ's comments
What are Eco Toys?

I’ve been in business selling wooden toys and educational toys for 8 years now.  When I first started I knew I loved wooden toys. There weren’t really many around and they were difficult to find.   Thankfully now there are loads around in shops everywhere , but processes vary so much and the word ECO FRIENDLY TOY is thrown around so much – I've been wondering what REALLY makes a toy 'eco friendly' .  What do all these words mean – sustainable wood , FSC certified , non toxic etc. ?

You would be forgiven for believing that any type or brand of wooden toys is a safer option for your children to be playing with as opposed to plastic toys, as wood is a natural material, but… not all wooden toys are created equal and we parents need to be very aware of this.

Our new site is finally online. (Cue applause and sigh of relief) We have been working behind the scenes on this site for what feels like forever. At least the last 5 months anyhow! I’d really like to say a BIG thank you to the development team at Mantis Technologies for sharing my vision and coping with a crazy lunatic 24 hours a day (especially this last week before launching) .. Did I mention my husband and his team are my web developers? You can check out Dave’s company at www.mantistech.com.au for quite frankly the most amazing work, personal service and delivery of an AWESOME website!!

CamelBak Eddy .4L FAQ's

April 1, 2013 By Lime Tree Kids Product FAQ's comments
How do I put the Big Bite™ Valve back in the cap?
Follow these instructions to re-insert the Big Bite™ Valve component:
1.Flip the stem collar (the component the bite valve passed through originally) to the open position. You should be able to look through both the opening in the cap and the opening in the collar.
2.Turn the cap over and orient the bite valve so the finger tab points towards the back of the cap (where the handle loop is). Insert the tip of the bite valve through the cap and the collar until the end of the Big Bite™ Valve peeks through the outer end of the collar.
3.Turn the cap over and grab the end of the Big Bite™ Valve and pull through until it sits in the grooves incorporated into the collar. If you pull the Big Bite™ Valve too far out these grooves will be visible. Just press the valve back down until these grooves are seated.
4.Turn the cap over and press on the base of the valve to make sure it is seated.
5.Insert the straw (either end, it doesn’t matter) into the hole in the valve base. Don’t over-insert the straw, just until you feel resistance.
